Having a clean, fresh and disinfected bathroom is essential to maintain a cozy atmosphere at home. Proper bathroom cleaning is not only important for your comfort, but also for health concerns. Here are some tips to get rid of those unpleasant odors effectively.
Regular cleaning
Keep a consistent cleaning routine to avoid bacteria and residue buildup. Clean the toilet, sink and surfaces regularly with disinfectant products.
Adequate ventilation
Make sure the bathroom has good air circulation. Open windows or use an exhaust fan to remove moisture that can cause bad odors and mold buildup.
Use deodorizers or natural air fresheners
We need to be very careful while using air fresheners in the bathroom. First of all, you need to get rid of any residual odor with a deodorizing product such as baking soda; after that, you can use natural air fresheners such as essential oils, scented candles or sachets to maintain a fresh scent in the bathroom.
Go the DIY way
Sometimes the best way is the DIY way: Spray white vinegar in the toilet and on surfaces and let it sit for a few minutes before rinsing. Vinegar helps neutralize odors and disinfect.
Sprinkle baking soda in the toilet and on odorous areas. Let it sit for a while and then rinse. Vinegar and baking soda help neutralize odors, disinfect and kill bacteria.
Prevent hair and debris buildup
Regularly clean drains to prevent the buildup of hair and other debris that can cause water to stagnate and generate bad odors in the drains.
Remember that prevention is key to maintaining an odor-free bathroom. With these tips and a little diligence, you can make sure your bathroom always smells fresh and pleasant. For a more deep cleaning give us a call, we’re only a click away!
The microwave is one of the most used appliances in the home and that is why it must be kept clean to avoid bacteria and bad odors. Today we share with you a quick, simple and inexpensive How-To clean your microwave
In a microwave-ready container, mix two tablespoons of white vinegar and fill it halfway with water, put it in the oven and heat it for 5 minutes, although if it is a high power, 3 minutes will be enough.
The steam from this mixture will loosen the dirt or grease from the walls and it will be easier to clean it. To do this, take a sponge soaked with baking soda and start cleaning from the top until you reach the base, where previously you have to remove the dish and wash it separately. After passing the sponge with baking soda, clean again, but now with a damp cloth.
Once it is clean and odorless, you can use it to scent your home, for this you simply have to put water in the container along with a couple of cinnamon sticks and a few slices of lemon and heat for 3 to 5 minutes, this will make the aroma go out throughout your kitchen.
